If your renewal application has already been approved (see: Extension of stay for studies — required to obtain the TIE renewal | IQS), you must book an appointment for fingerprinting and have the following documents ready:

  1. Valid passport (original)
  2. Expired original TIE
  3. Printed resolution of approved study renewal
  4. Printed and completed EX-17 form
  5. Printed and paid fee form 790_012 (€19.30). REMEMBER to pay the fee before your appointment at any bank
  6. Updated registration certificate to the Municipal registry of inhabitants (only if you have changed your address)
  7. Recent photo (passport size)
